ple's ideas, with which could co-
operate. I hoped to get suggestions
and to find out what the people think
end what they want. Frankly` speak-
ing, I am disappointed with the re-
sting. . •
So far as I knew, no organizatme
of the League has been formed in this
riding. In fact,: unfortunately. 41 find
in some quarters that a suspicion of
the League •haS
developed. In Any
event; time has heen lost. There wilt
likely be , an, election befote many
months. No more time, should be wast-
ed. I feel that the people should ex-
nrese themselves and that their views
should be obtained. My desire is to
reflect °those Views and not to en-
deavour to stamp my own Amon the
electorate., Of course. I have my own
ideas. SO have you. It is my duty to
adiertain what your ideas are. I de-
sire the party which 1 represent in
this • riding to reflect, those views.

Mrs. W. Ross rang a solo.
The regular meeting of the Young
People's' Society met on Sunday even-
ing, Mr. Finlay McDonald acted as
president.. Miss Margaret Simpaon
gave a splendid address on the life
of Martin' Luther.

The death occurred on Friday April
28th of Miss Agnes 'Wiley, daughter
of the late ,And Mrs. Wm. Wiley..
