KiNLOSS.
On Tuesday of this week, Thomas
Mirehouse, of concession 2kdied in his
61st year, after an illness ofwone month
from an affection of the bowels. De-
ceased had underwent what was thought
a successful surgical operation on Mon-
day of last week, but he died on the
above date. Everything in the way of
medical attention and other assistance
was done to relieve his suffering. Mr.
Mirehouse was one of the oldest residents
of Kinloss, having lived on the farm on
which he died for upwards of 26 years,
and previous to that time had resided in
East Wawanosh, south of Whitechurch
for a number of years. was a man
highly respected by s many friends
and his death will be a severe loss to his
wife tend family. Deceased was a mem-
ber of the Methodist•church and was in
politics a Liberal. A wife and family of
ten children, five girls and five boys, are
left to mown the loss of a loving husband
and a good father. All the children are
at home, except two boys who reside in
Dakota. The family of the deeeased
has been very unfortunate this winter;
six of tho children having the measels at
one time and then the death of
husband and father. The bereaved
family will have the sympathy of a large
circle of friends in this their sad bereave-
ment. Tho fttneral was held on Thurs-
day to the cemetery at Tiffin's church.
