. Londesboro United Church was the setting for the late
summer wedding of Carol Anne Jewitt. daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Jewitt. RR#1 Londesboro and Richard Donald
Forbes. son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Forbes, RR#2. Clinton.
Rev. Robt: Scott officiatedet the double ring ceremony and,
special music was prdvided by Mrs. Louise McGregofat
the organ and Mrs. Barbara Bosman on the piano. The Snell
sisters. Barbara Bosman. Bonnie Jewitt and Bette Jewitt
sang "0 Perfect Love' • and "The Wedding Song' ' with Bill
Jewitt. brother of the bride adding a special touch with his
solo "The Rose". A friend of the bride. Ann Denomme was
maid of honour with Judy Jewitt, Golda Wilson, B1srb
Forbes and Lisa Forbes as Ilridesmaids. Lori Forbes was the,
flower girl. Brian McGregor 7friend of the groom was best
man, with Dan Jewitt. Paul' Forbes. Brad Forbes an& Bill
Jewitt as ushers. Ben Vanderhaan was the ring bearer.
Guests were received at the Blyth Community Centre for a
social 'hour which preceeded the reception. Following the
reception the bridal couple travelled Tito the heart of the

COMMUNITY TITI-HITS
Judie Horsup and Lee
Ann Bel!_ and a dozen children
sung at Conestoga College on
Dec. 24 before their Christ-
mas dinner. The chglren that
sung in the choir are: Evelyn
Rhynard. Marguerite East.
Chris Horsup, Billy Rhynard.
Bobby Rhynard. Cheryl East,
Carlee Horsup. Chris Adorn,
Kelly White. Phuoc Luoung.
Hung Luong and Eric Saur.
The songs they sang were:
"Away in a Manger, We wish
You a Merry Christmas,
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Rein-
deer and Silent Night" (done
by the girls). On Christmas
Eve the children went around
singing Christmas carols and
had hot chocolate and a lot of
goodies. While they were
drinking hot chocolate they
had a visit from old Santa
Claus. riding a sno07friohlre
because his reindeer were
stuck in the snow.

The winner of the Gin-
gerbread house, which was
made by Deborah Carvell and
Glenda Belair, was Ernest
(Soni) K. Laws of Vanastra.

leader. Good luck to both of
them.
CHRISTIAN CHURCH
The Vanastra Christian
Church had a successful
hayride with carol singing.
They had a lot of hot chocolate
for everyone that was- pro-
witted by Debbie's Restau-
rant. Them will be no Young
-People's until Jan. 3. On Dec.
24 the church had a candle-
light service at 8 p.m. Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Visser and
family would like to wish
everyone a Happy New Year.
LIONS AND LIONESS
The Lions had a success-
ful hayride carolling around
Vanastra. They had a lot of
hot chocolate after the caroll-
ing. Prize winners were:
lights, Dave Miller with $25;
second, Jeff Dixon with .515:
and third was Ross Munroe
with 510. Congratulations.
