Last Endo afternoon
Grades IV. V and VI from
Seaforth Public School came
with a program of 'singing
with Mrs. Griffin at the
piano and teacher. Mrs.
Reynolds with them.
Our administrator Irwin
Johnston thanked the group
for coming.
Then the pupils passed
trays of delicious cookies
which', 'we enjoyed. These
singers were enthusiastic and
enjoyed what they were
doing. They moved. among
the residents shaking hands
and wishing all a Merry
Christmas.
I'm sure the children enjoy-
ed this contact with the
residents and in return we
enjoyed having these young
people coming. and bringing
their enthusiasm which show-
ed the Christmas spirit. A
real lesson for our youth
which they will not soon
forget.
Today Saturday, the
best news I can relate is that
Anna Hoegy returned from
University hospital. London.
after a stay of about four
weeks. She is my roommate.
Her granddaughter Betty
Beuttenmiller and family
were here to welcome her.
They had a real welcome
MAY.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonatd
Muegge nee Jane Sills,
brought her home. She had
wonderful experiences at the
hospital. She is feeling well
'after surgery at the hospital.
VISITORS
Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Forsy-
the visited several people in
the Home, the McKay bro-
thers, and Mabel Turnbull.
As of now, it ihoks like, a
white Christmas,. In these
days we have no fear of the'
snow as our snowploughs
are efficient in keeping the
toads safe for traffic.
Don Brightrall with Gladys
Brightrall. Carol Glanville
and Suzanne Dinsmore visit-
ed the Home.arol comes
often. She has come , here
since she was small child.
She brings Totie her pet or
borrows a neighbour's dog,
"Nickie'", Patti Muegge's
dog. It all brightens our day.
Frank Holley With Ella
Hulley. Sunday the Primary
'Class of Northside United
Church came during their
regular class time period and
presented the Nativity scene,
forus. It was very real as all
characters pf the Nativity
scene were represented.
Leaders of this group are
Charlotte McKercher. Shir-
ley Laverty, Ruth Townsend,
and Judy, Hhmon. This play
was done in pantomime with
actions but no speaking.
Our sincere sympathy goes
out to the Aikens family in
the loss , of their father
Rueben Aikens and Mrs.
Aikens is in Ritz Villa
Mitchell.
Special guests were Mary
Sills Townsend . Carols
were sung to match the
action _
"We Three Kings"
Characters' were - The Ang-
eis in all in white with wings
bordered with tinsel - Nancy
Stewart, was the Crooked
Tree from which the manger
was made and a large baby
doll was placed in the
manger.
This nativity scene im-
pressed us very much which
made it more real to us. As a
treat for us tangerines were
passed. A special thanks to
the leaders from us all. It is a
real training for children to
portray the Nativity Scene.

was on the Wise Men who

Psalm 23rd, he read it from a

people, These songs were
sung by David, the shep-
