Richard Joseph Ares and Joanne Elizabeth Murray were
married Dec. 19 at St. Columban Roman Catholic Church,
with Father Dan Phelan of Guelph officiating. The groom
lives at Rankin Inlet, N.W.T. and is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Ares of Edmonton. The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Thomas Murray of RR5, Seaforth. Maid of honor
was Darlene Elligson of Kitchener, with Janice Dietz and
Marilyn Murray. alio both of Kitchener, as bridesmaids.
Groomsman was the groom's brother. Raymond Ares of
Quebec City. Ushers were brothers of the bride. Neil and
Allan Murray. both of RR5. Seaforth. Music was provided
by Mary Bastedo of Kitchener and Cathy- Murray of
Yellowknife, N.W.T. Guests from a distance included
guests from Ranklin Inlet, Edmonton. Quebec City.
Kitchener and London. The reception was held at the
Brodhagen Hall. The couple went on a wedding trip to
Edmonton and will reside at Rankin Inlet. N.W.T.
