nual children's Christmas
party was hosted by branch
156 with about 180 members
children present. After the
program by the children.

parents were treated to coffee
and cookies.

concert were: Tawyna Taylor
and Tracy Fortune- dance,
Pam Nolan. The Jessome
Family singers Nelson, Carl,
Shawna, Trevor, and Brenda.

Chris Smith a guitar solo.
Charlene Da.yman and Cheryl
Ho'dgert sang accompanied
by themselves on the organ.
Timmy Taylor. Linda De
Jong gave a reading of the
Night before Christmas.
Allyson Scott played the
piano. Angela Bernard also
sang as did Penny Robinson.
Mary Ann De Jong also
entertained. Timmy Brown
played his electric guitar. All
the children did very well,
and Mrs. Gordon Scott who
organized would like to thank
everyone who took part.
Our sports chairman Jim
gave us a short report on' last
Wednesdays euchre. There
were fourteen tables in play.

had. The prizes were turkeys
and the following were the
winners Bill Wilbee and Ray
Klages. Lone, hands- Kevin
Coyne, door prize Tom Nigh.

were Peter Malcolm and Ken
Coombs. The next euchre will
be Wednesday night January
6th.
Jack Muir our entertain-
ment officer reports the tie-
kets for the New Years eve
dance all sold. but would like
to see a good 'crowd at the
Boxing night dance on Satur-
day evening. We have a disc
jockey for the evening and
I'm quite sure the music will
be good and the price is right.
There will be no admission
charged,for this dance so feel
free to invite your guests to'
the dance. There will be the
draw for the glass hockey
sticks. tickets are currently
being sold.
I have a message from our
President Bill Wilbee and
from our Auxiliary President
Mrs. Ken Coombs. President
Bill wouldlIce to thank those
of our members who have
helped make this past year
the success that it has been.
Special thanks to our bar
steward Frank who is always
doing a lot more than is
expected of him. Also those
who helped on the bar
through the years. To those of
the executive committees
who gave 6•eely of their time
so many time throughout the
year and last but by. no means
least our Ladies Auxiliary
