Junior and Senior Choirs. The ralloartt, prepared and directed by Rev. McDonald. had the Christmas story told by the animals in the Bethle- hem stable. The donkey told of bringiag Mary and Joseph gt Bethlehem; the innkeep- er's dog told of their arrival: the cow told how she made room for them in her stall. Then the little lamb told how he was brought as a gift by the shepherds; the camel told of meeting the three Wise Men in the desert; and the horse told of his Roman master's mission for King Herod. Those speaking for the animals were-the donkey, Janet Wyatt; the dog, J'en- 'nifer Taylor; the cow. Mary Jane Parson; the lamb, Rick Topp; the camel. "rim Mann; and the 'horse, Rod Parker. The service was conducted'hY Rev. McDonald with Sharon VVurtn as reader. The Junior and Senior Choirs assisted telling the story of Christmas through music. The Junior Choir. under the direction of Mr. McDonald. with Joyce Pepper at the piano opened the service .with "Come. Along With Me To Jesus" taken from Hi:God. They also sang a French carol "The 'Friendly Beasts", "It Is Not Far To Bethlehem". and another French carol "The Gifts They Gave Emmanuel" with Donald Wareing and Robert Gackstetter taking the solo parts. At the time of prayer they sang "A Prayer For Christmas" by Lee Ellis and closed the service with "Come, Lord Jesus". The girls chorus sang "My Soul Magnifies The Lord" as Mary listens to the an- nouncement of the coming event. And the boys chorus sang 'Herod Was A Jealous King" , adopted from "Puer Natus:,' by Praetorius. Solo- ist from the junior choir was Peter Cook singing "What Child Is This" to Green. sleeves; Pam Gackstetter -singing "Child In A Manger" to the Gall& Melody and Wayne Scotchmer singing ,"What Can I Give Him" by Rossitte. The boys trio of Tim Brock, Robert Gackstetter and Wayne Scotchmer sang he Austrian carol "As Lately __y_eWatched." The ""iinior choir trio of Carol Stuart.. Don McCaffrey and Ron Mock sang the Austrian carol "Who Knocks So Late" and the senior choir with Belva Fuss sang the very beautiful-"The Three Kings" with arr. by Ivor Atkins, with Dr. .Toop as organist and choir director. Taking part in telling the story were Mary, Paula Boz- atto; Joseph-Mark McGregor The Angels-Joelle Beaver. Dianne Hamilton and Eliza- beth Thompson; the Wise Men-John Rooseboom, Tim Peckham and Mark ,Brock; the shepherds-Gordon Ham- ilton, Robbie Taylor and Michael McGregor; the inn keeper, Scott Jesney.
