to the attractiveness of poten-
tial financial rewards and
greedily charges a fee to a
number off "fishermen"-who
want- to pose with the huge
fish: The story is hilarious,
and vintage Clark.

Although Canadians are
not generally prone to hero-
worshipping, most of us pro-
bably have our personal her-
oes. One of mine i$ Greg
Clark. Greg was a popular
Canadian writer and humour-
ist who was also an avid
fisherman, hunter and natur-
alist. Greg wrote a daily
column in the Toronto Star
entitled 'Gregory Clark's
Packsack.' Any resemblance

A cross country ski trail
located between Exeter and
Morrison Dam Conservation
Area, is again planned" for
this year. However this trail is "
not definite since easements
will need to be obtained from
private landowners whose
land the trail crosses.
At Parkhill _Conservation
Area both snewtriobile and
cross-country ski trails will-be
maintained. A new section of
trail ' is planned 'along the
southern edge of the-Parkhill
ReservOir. d ,
Itithe summer this
trail will link the campground
with the existing , nature
trails. In the winter the new
trail wilt be designated for
cross-country skiing,
The high point of the cross
country skiing and snowmo-
bilitig season will likely be the
Parkhill Winter Fun Day
which has been tentatively
scheduled for Sunday Febru-
ary 6th.
'The purliose of the
wint er fnn day is to promote
participation in winter recrea-
tional activities and, as the
name suggests, to have fun.
The program for the winter
fun day will include races.
films, ski waxing clinics,
winter survival clinics and
refreshments. .
