am not superstitious and I say'

Why? I will explain. After
completing the Teacher's
course at the Faculty of
Education, when applying for
a School. I wrote several
applications and my thir-
teenth was for Huntsville
school. I was accepted and I
think I was lucky serving the
school there for ten years
1919-1929. That was half a
century ago. Some of my
ex-pupils there still remem-
ber me.
My ex-pupil Bruce West
who started with the Globe
and Mail as a reptirter and
later as a columnist ' who
writes in Thursday's Globe
and Mail special section.
When I first took ill he called
