The Bruins temporarily
halted their fall .into the dark

strial Hockey League's Sun-
day night. The frisky Bears
clubbed the Flyers by a 6-3
count during the evening's
middle match. It was the
Bruins first win this year and
it gives the club bragging

Their attack may be as
exciting as watching cement
set, but the Rangers are
finding the grind,it-out ap-

The body of a 23-year-old
worker was found about 510
metres underground at the
Domtar Inc. mine in Goderich
Monday. Steven Girard
Palmer of Quebec St. in
Goderich was found trapped
between a moving conveyor
belt and a metal shute.
Coroner Raymond Flowers
of Clint%) says a post mortem
showed he died of asphyxia-
tion and the date for an
inquest, required in mine
incidents, will likely be set in
a week.
Mr. Palmer was last seen
alive about 6:30 a.m. He did
not join fellow workers when

She was 70.
She was predeceased by
her husband, the late Frede-
rick Samuel Peters, in 1976.
She is survived by two sons
and two daughters; Mrs.
Joyce Lee of Seaforth, Mrs.
-Earl (Bennie) Beater orl:R.
1, Dashwood, Leroy of Hen-
sail, and Thomas of Port Ellis
in British, Columbia. Also
surviving are two brothers,
John of Harriston and Ge-
orge of London, and two
sisters, Mrs. Sadie Sockett of
Fergus and Mrs. Tress&
Fletcher of , Hensall, 14
grandchildren and six great-
granchildren.
The late Mrs. Peters rest-
ed at the Bonthron Chapel of
the Michael j'. O'Connor -
Funeral Home df King ,$,t, in
Hensall, where the serviee
was conducted Friday. Rev.
James Broadfoot officiated.
Burial was in Hensall Union
Cemetery.
