rMr. Ilemm Robb au old and respected I
resident of the firino of Morris, died t(t
at his horse on Tuesday of last week, of
heart trouble and dropsy, at trip,ageof
seventy-five years. Mr. Robb Was a
Meth Conservative and an Orange -
mala. e was born in Ireland and mar-
ried Miss Clxaistiauna hunter. Holeaves,,
besides his widow, a family of eight
children,. `,Chose in Morris are; Mrs.
Charles Forrest; Mr. Joseph Robb, on
the homestead; and Miss Ohristia.na at
home. The rest of the family, William,
Henry, Mrs, William John McKinney,
Mrs. John Peacock and Miss Sarah are
in Manitoba. The funeral ea Friday
was conducted by Rev, D. Rogers and.
Vas very largely attended.
Rev. W. J. West, M. A., ?:-s renewed
his sermons on the characters in Bun-
yan's Pilgrim's Progress. Last Sabbath
evening he spoke on the character Little
Faith and the previous Sabbath on
'Ignorance. These sermons are very
good and interesting and well worth at-
tending.

from Manitoba,

has returned and will spend the winter
in town.
. H. S. Love has disposed of his photo
business to Mr. G. 3. Loth, of Mildmay.
We understand Mr. Loth has had a large
experience in the photo business and
will no doubt meet with success.
Mr. Henry Gildner, of New Dundee,
was in town last week visiting friends
and old acquaintances.

Mr. William Patton has sold his one
hundred acre. farm east of :the village, to
Mr. William Robertson az-.d has bought
`the Timmins farm, near the railway
station, where he intends to snake dairy-
ing a speciality, shipping his butter to
' Toronto. For soni.e years paot Mr. Pat-
ton has paid a good deal of attention to
dairying% keeping' a number of very fine
dairy cows, mostly Jerseys, making the
butter up in the,.,, most modern manner,
' and shipping it. By study and observa-
tion. he has kerns ne quite an expert in
telling how mach milk a certain. quantity
of a certain. foe .d will produce. The
Timmins farm .contains one hundred
acres anicl.M' . Patton paid live thousand
dollars for it.
