On Sept. 4, 1961. George Lubbers and Jo-Ann Salverda,
were united in marriage. The, ceremony was performedby
their Pastor, Rev. C. SchiMX: at Bethel Free Reformed
Church. Munro. George is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs.
Lambert Lubbers, R.R. 4 Seaforth and Jo-Ann is the
youngestdaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Salverda, R.R. 1
Clinton. Maid of honour was Miss Marion Brink of Ethel.
Ont,.and Miss Jacqueline de Rover. of the Netherlands.
Miss Jo-Ann Pol, Monkton and Miss Joan Bergsma.
Londesboro, were bridesmaids. The groom was attended
by best man. Gary VandenBrink. Carlingford and Jack (
Lubbers. Steve Lubbers, Seaforth his brothers, and John
Lubbers, his cousin, Dresden were ushers. Mr. and Mrs.
George Lubbers now reside at 82 East William Street in
Seaforth,

London; 'Ont. was united in marriage to Larry T. Coupar,
London.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Coupar, London,
and the bride ic the daughter of Mrs. Doreen Reid and the
late Ken Reid London. She was given in marriage by her '
brother Paul Reid, Edmonton, Alberta. The double-ring
ceremony was officiated by Minister Mr. C. Wideman.
Her bridal attendants were Anne Green, Dallas, Texas
(niece of bride's mother) Debbie Gardiner (sister of the
groom). Best man was friend of the groom Len Heitd.
Edmonton, Alta.. and ushers were David Reid, (brother of
the'bride) Edmonton, Alberta, and John Shaw of London,
(friend of the groom).
Prior to the bride'slnarriage, a miscellaneous shower
was held at the home of Mrs. Elva Sanders. Clinton,

Church. Brussels, on August 29th. The .bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hanna of R.R. 1.
Atwood. Mr. and Mrs. John Armstrong of R.R. 1, Ethel
are parents of the groom. The bride was given in marriage
by her uncle, Mr. Wayne Dietrich of R.R. 3. Listowel, in
the seven o'clock evening ceremony. With Rev. Thomas of
Monitton officiating. Mrs. Joanne Kipg of Brussels was
the organist. Ms. Gloria Hutchinson of Don Mills was her
sister's Matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Rosalyn
Wyritles of Red. Deer Alt.. and Miss Beth Sebastian of
listowel. Brian Armstrong of R.R. 2, Bluevale, brother of
the groom was the best man. Guests were ushered by
Bruce %/thee of R.R. 1, Ethel. and Mike Pettapiece of
Gaelph.?The reception following the wedding was held in
the B.M.&G. Community Centre in Brussels. After a

honour was Joyce Broadfoot of Brucefield. and bridesmaids
