Many difficulties have been overcame already by other widowed parents' through a group called Parents Without Partners. PARENTS WITHOUT PARTNERS is concerned with the interests and welfare. of single parents and their children. The group operates 13 chapters across tanada with,enere".than,106 members. Depending on the size of the group, they meet either weekly or monthly. The recovery process for the widowed parent starts with orientation sessions which help them adjust to their new situation. As recovery proceeds, the parent attends seminars on how to raise children as a single parent and becomes involved in an active social program of sports, dances, and dinners. This group should be considered by all widows and widowers.. with children as.,they get ready to re-enter social life.
