ded the Provincial Council
meeting held in Toronto on
October 17. New Democrats
from across the Province
heard Dan Heap, newly elec-
ted MP-far-Spadina, report
from Federal Caucus. He told
delegates caucus was trying
to force the Trudeau Govern-
ment to deal with the econo-
mic issues plaguing the coun-
try. Mr. Heap said the
Government doesn't want to
talk about interest rates,
employment, housing, or cut
backs in social piograms and
resource industries. He said
he bad heard of the Prime
Minister's disdain for an-
swering questions but thathis
arrogance in the Houk still
came as a surprise.
