'The secretary read the minutes of the last meeting and each girl answered the roll call: an area of the garment where you would apply interfacing to provide stability. Mrs. Ahrens demonstrated apply- ing fusible interfacing on the facing around the neckline. The facing was sewn to the bodiCe back. Different types of interfacing were examin- ed. The junior sewers worked on their facing sample. The senior sewers learned how to apply a lapped' zipper-. They are to sew a lapp zipper on their sample at home. The hidden word game was an- swered by the members. The leaders helped the girls with any problem they might be -having with their vest or skirt. Spent the day touring the city. The airline. Sabina, that's the Belgium airline , put us up during the day with a bedroom apiece plus both dinner and supper.
