THANKSGIVING DINNER
On Fri. Oct. 9th both grade
1 classes had a Thanksgiving
Dinner in which a typical
Thanksgiving Day was cele-
brated. One class dressed up
as pilgrims the other class
dressed up as Indians. They
had a delicious turkey dinner
and a scrumptuous dessert-
pumpkin pie which the
baked the day before. Thei.
room was decorated with
carved pumpkins, piacemats
andother_decorations. They
were all excited and enjoyed
the meal thoroughly. They
would like to thank their
teachers Mrs. B. Rosman and
Mrs. B. tiverinore.
SOCCER
On Fri. Oct. 9th the Myth
girls visited Hullett girls' and.
played an exhibition soccer
game. The score was tied 0-0.

COMPUTER AT THE PUBLIC SCHOOL — Katimavk volunteer Luc
Lojole of Montreal is programming the school's new computer, bought at
a cost of $610 from student council and other school funds. The school
hopes 60 students a week can learn how to use the computer,-for
instruction, remedial work and enrichment. It will 'be programitied \for
math, English,. history,,; geography arid science and will be available for
after school use too. Students six years and up, will begin computer
learning shortly.
