Seaforth and area art lovers will-be pleased to learn that
an exhibition by Neil Broadfoot will be at the. Van Egmond
House from Oct.7731,JvIr-Breadfood, a Seaforth native, Is.
the son of Mr: "d Mrs. Cliff Broadfoot of town.
Another Seaforth native. Dr. Aubrey CHO of Grimsby.
will be showing some of his international award winning
slides underthe auspices of the Van Egmond Foundation.
The show will be held at Seaforth Public School on the
evening of Saturday. Oct. 24.
Winner of the heirloom Bear's Paw quilt draw at the
Ciderfest at the Van Egmond House on Sunday was Jayne
Cardno.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hawley of Auburn were Friday
visitors were Rev. Ure and Mrs. Stewart.
Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Dennis of North Bay visited this
past week with Ethel and Elmer Dennis.

The second, meeting of
Seaforth III 4-H club was held
Sept. 21 at the home of Mary
Anne and Linda fpeJong's.
The topic was: "A chicken In
Every Pot." Leaders Brenda
DeJong and Catherine, Cole-
man talked about making
chicken stock, what it in-
cludes and, how to freeze it.
They also talked on the
principles of cooking differ-
ent chickens before the girls
went into the kitchen to make
"Niagara Nice 'N Spicy Chic-
ken" and "Chicken with a
Chinese Accent."
