Metric IQ, sewing ability,
fabric suggestion and sewing
box requirements were" dis-
cussed. The members parti-
cipated "in measuring and
determining which pattern
size to buy.
The first meeting of the
Egmondville 4-H group was
held at the home of Barb
Caldwell on Sept. 15. First we
discussed what we would be
doing in our book. Our,
assistant leader Debbie Doig
• explained and showed us how
to cut up a chicken.
Next was the election of the
officers. They are: Darlene
Moore, president; Colleen
Ungarian, vice-president;
Carol McIntosh, secretary-
treasurer; and Allyson Scott,
press reporter.

ettes next meeting would be

Brodhagen 4-H club was held
Monday at Brodhagen Com-
munity Centre under the
leadership of Barbara Scher-
barth and Dianne Ahrens.
Thirteen girls were in atten-
dance. The theme of this club
is ready, set and sew. Each
girl took their measurements
and decided on pattern sizes.
The second meeting of the
4-H club opened with each
girl showing her pattern and
material tor either a skirt Or
vest. The election of officers
was Pret. Marilyn Ahrens;
treasurer, Jennifer Horan,
secretary, Rev Beuermann;
and phone is Janice Beuer-
mann and Coleen Gildbert;

berth. The name this year
again is Brodhagen Seam
Rippers, was suggested by
Marcie Scherbarth.
