Mr. Swanson was active in community affairs while here serving on the boards'of 'the Chamber of Commerce. United Appeal, Children's Aid Society; YMCA, to name a few. He has also been active in Bruce County. Presently living in Han- over. Mr. Swanson and his wife,Mary, will be moving to Stratford. The couple have five children, with only the youngest._ Steve, 17 at home. The couple were also active in St. John's United Church while living in Stratford. Mr. Anderson will-be leav- ing the Perth County Board of Education on Sept. 7. He has taken a position • with the Board of Education in Surrey, B.C.
