feed into the barn' earlier in the day, and an electric light bulb caused
feed to catch on fire in the feed bin, according to on,the-Scene firefighter
Jim Parkinson. The rest of the feed was extracted from the bin and
re-bagg ed so erpbers could be extinguished. The ,only loss was some
feed. Another fire alarm on Monday afternoon concerned-a minor grass
fire north of the vacant Gay Lea building. Mr. Parkinson reported there
a was little damage, and firefighters were at the scene for a short time.'

Weekly picnics at Seaforth
Manor Nursing Home have
been very popular. Saturday
was no exception. Under
sunny skies residents enjoy-
ed being outdoors and eating
picnic style.
Birthday greetings last
week to Mrs. Ruth Noll, who
celebrated last Friday. Also
on Saturday, Mrs. Noll ac-
