Mitchell Junior Farmers
will go ahead and install four
pieces of playground eq9 ,
ment, at Upper. Thames 1
ementary School.
The Perth County. Board of
Education gave permission
last week. '
A letter to the board from
the Mitchell Junior Farmers,
said, 'The plans, for the
equipment were, taken from
'Participation - a Participark
for your Community'. We
plan to install a climb wall,
monkey bars. balance beam
and tractor tine."
The Junior Farmers will be
reducing the size of the
equipment so the children
will be able to use it.
"Total cost of the mater-
ials for this project is $450
which we plan to donate
along with the installation,"
the letter stated.
Trustee P.E. Black expres-
sed his concern in regards to
a step up on the monkey
bars.
"The step up is very
dangerous and could be left
out or placed behind a pole."
Trustee Black said.
Superintendent of busi-
ness and finance Leigh And-
erson said he would make
sure the removal of the step
up is one of the conditions of
installing the equipment.
The work at the school will
be under the supervision of
the manager of plant for the
board of education. When
the work is completed, the
board will take possession
and be 'responsible for the
equipment.

Six alternative transmission systems have been
identified by Hydro to meet these needs. Public comment
