Mrs. David H.(Ellen May)
Wilson of John Street in
Seaforth died in Seaforth
Community Hospital on
Tuesday. August 11. 1981 in
her 16th year,She had been
in poor health for several
years. The former 'Eleanor
Henderson. she was a native
of Michigan.
She was married in 1924 to
David H. Wilson and the
couple moved to Seaforth in
1932. Mr. Wilson. who was for
, many years Seaforth town
clerk, died in 1961 . Mrs,
Wilson was.a member of the
Seaforth chapter of the circler
of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by
a son, Gordon of Toronto; two
grandsons. Andrew and Rob-
ert; and a brother, Leon
Henderson, Detroit. She was
predeceased by a sister
Peggy (Mrs. E, A. Christian-
son) of Arizona. Mrs. Wilson
rested at the R.S. Box Funer-
al Home. Seaforth until Thur-
sday August 13, when a
funeral service was conduct-
ed by Rev.1.6. Vans tyke at 2
p.m. Interment followed in
Maitlandbank cemetery. The
pallbearers were Don Stewart
Bill Smith, Eldon Nott, and
Gar Biker,

to borrow the money for

Karges of Listowel.

Mr. Chandler.
-In figures provided by the
architect, Kyles, Kyles and
Garratt of Stratford. financ-
ing $150,000 would be paid
for over a period of 20 year.
The architect calculated the
monthly payment of $2,241
using an 18 per cent interest
rate.
Warden Tuer said the
interest rate would be at a
more realistic figure of 22 per
cent.
Following the council
meeting. Warden Tuer said
the executive committeewould
come up with a recommenda-
tion at the September meet-
ing. He noted that the county
could borrow the money at a
cheaper rate than the CAS..

A proposed $200,000 addi-
tion to the Children's Aid
Society' building has been
referred to the executive
committee of Perth County
Council.
At its August session, 'the
director of the CAS Steve
Chandler presented the pro-
posal to Perth County Council.
Assisting Mr. Chandler in
the presentation was Frances
Green. chairman of the CAS's
finance committee. - • !
After a committee-of-the-
whole meeting in which the
proposed addition was one of
a number of items discussed,
Warden Wilfred Tuer said
the decision to refer the itern
to the executive committee
was made to obtain "further
information."
In presenting the report.
Mr. Chandler said that-of the
5200.000 required to build the
proposed addition. 550.000
will be paid in cash by the
CAS. That money-comes froth
the . CAS's private capital
fund. • endowments .and
bequests. The CAS is'asking
Bell Canada expects to
begin delivery of its 1981
directory in the Seaforth area
Nov. 20. Peter Croome,
manager of the Bell office in
Stratford which serves this
area. says delivery of the
London-St. Thomas, Gode-
rich, and surrounding terri-
tory directory (which includ-
es Seaforth) -should lake
&Out a week around here.
The directory for • Stratford
and surrounding exchanges,
for instance Mitchell. is
slated sooner.. It will begin
'Aug. 18. and should be
completed Aug. 27.
Each household will re-
ceive one directory continu-
ing Bell Canada's policy of
conserving natural resour-
ces. Anyone who has not
received a copy after the
delivery period should call
the company's business of-
fice in Stratford.

An "amiable" discussion
during dinner recess provid
ed the land division commit-
tee and Perth County Council
with the opportunity to heir
both sides of a dispute.
Following a heated discus-
sion at the July meeting of
Perth County-Council. it was
decided to invite the• land
division committee to the
August session. The two'
groups met over dinner dur-
ing the August session.
Warden 'Wilfred Tuer re-
ported there were "no con-
frontation." 14c said the
meeting was "informative to
aid 'the Warden Tuer s
