on Church St. as an alter-
native to our last location on
Centre St. We can move
about according to the wea-
ther which in this ease had
cooled off consider ably from
the hot humid uncomfortable
type. A gentle, cool, breeze
from the welt caused many
of the residents to call for
covers.
We had to bundle up and
make use of the knee covers
which had been sent for our
use from the Northside
U.C.W. made from odds and
ends. Some of members of
the U.C.W. had the bright
idea of making these lap
covers which will continue to
add to our comfort when
needed.
We were pleased to wel-
come Rev. and Mrs. James
Broadfoot of St. Thomas
Anglican Church who joined
us for the _barbecue. When
everything was cleared
away. Rev. Broadfoot took
our church service which
opened with hymn, "Softly
and tenderly Jesus is call-
ing." As we had no piano for
accompaniment for the sing-
ing .we were 'pleased to
have the minister's wife,
Marion. to help us with the
singing "He headeth' Me, 0
