A Seaforth native,
Evelyn Olive (Dale) and -her
husband Albert Vander-
burgh celebrated their 50th
anniversary June 20 in God-
erich;
Mr. Vanderburgh, born
Goderich township; married
Mrs. Vanderburgh June 22,
1931 in Wesley Willis United
Church in Clinton. Their
attendants were the late
Melvin Dale and his future
wife, thelatelvfildred Taylor.
They moved from Clinton
to Goderich in 1940 where
Mr. Vanderburgh worked at
Sky Harbor, Gunther• Tuekey
and the salt mine. He retired
in 1977.
The Vanderburghs have
six children living in the
Goderich area, 16 grand-
children., and five great-
grandchildren.

CECIL (MOON] ADAMS
The' death occurred at
Alexandra Marine and Gen-
eral Hospital, Goderich on
Wednesday, June 24. 1981 of
Cecil (Moon) Adams of R.R.
6 Goderich. He was in his
70th year.
Born in. Seaforth he was a
son of the late Fred Adams
and Kathleen Baker and
attended Seaforth schools.
During the war he 'served in
the Navy. Following his

retirement from active ser-
vice in 1946 he was married
to Mona McGregor of Eg-
mondville and the couple
moved to Goderich when Mr.
Adams was associated with
the late Clifford Lowry in a
dry cleaning business. In
recent years and until his
retirement in 1977 he 'had
,been supervisor of the _Gad-
erich Ambulance Service.
He was a member of the
,Royal Canadian Legion in
SeafOrth and in Goderich and
also was a member of Knox,
Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Adams is survived by
his widoW and by one daugh-
ter Trudy, Mrs. Robert Stub-
bings of Goderich and by
three grandchildren and a
brother Kenneth Simcoe. He
Was predeceased to a. troth-
er, and sister.
The remains rested at the
McCallum Funeral Home.
Goderich until Saturday af-
ternoon when a funeral set.-

Churches provided the mus-
ic, accompanied by Mrs.
John Scott at the organ.
