Inter- • .1 ment followed in St. Peter's • Mark 50th A Seaforth native, Evelyn Olive (Dale) and -her husband Albert Vander- burgh celebrated their 50th anniversary June 20 in God- erich; Mr. Vanderburgh, born Goderich township; married Mrs. Vanderburgh June 22, 1931 in Wesley Willis United Church in Clinton. Their attendants were the late Melvin Dale and his future wife, thelatelvfildred Taylor. They moved from Clinton to Goderich in 1940 where Mr. Vanderburgh worked at Sky Harbor, Gunther• Tuekey and the salt mine. He retired in 1977. He was in his 70th year. Born in. Seaforth he was a son of the late Fred Adams and Kathleen Baker and attended Seaforth schools. During the war he 'served in the Navy. In recent years and until his retirement in 1977 he 'had ,been supervisor of the _Gad- erich Ambulance Service. He was a member of the ,Royal Canadian Legion in SeafOrth and in Goderich and also was a member of Knox, Presbyterian Church. Mr. Adams is survived by his widoW and by one daugh- ter Trudy, Mrs. Robert Stub- bings of Goderich and by three grandchildren and a brother Kenneth Simcoe.
