Jane Marion Ribey. daughter of Ruth and George Ribey
and Mark Lewis Twynham. son of Drusilla Twynham-
Leitch were married Friday. May 1. 1981 at the bride's
home. Rev. J. Vanslyke officiated at the double ring
ceremony. Catharine Ribey was maid of honour and Jane
Ribey, bridesmaid. Both are sisters of the bride. Andrew
Twynham, brother of the groom was best man and Earl
Ribey, brother of the bride, the usher. Jane Vincent was
pianist and Marten Vincent was the soloist. Following the
reception at Seaforth Community Centre. the couple left
on a honeymoon to Florida. They will reside in St. Thomas.

Staffen. Seaforth, and Edward Allan Montgomery.
GlencOe. son_ of Mrs. Marjory Montgomery. Seaforth,
were married in Bethel Bible Church, Egmondville, June
13 at 3 p.m. Rev. A.R. Yielding and Rev. Gould of
Stratford officiated at the double ring ceremony. The maid
of honour was Susan Smith. Seaforth, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Margaret Montgomery, Seaforth. and
Mrs. Carol Barry, Seaforth. sister of the bride. Flowergirl
.'was Cherie-Montgomery, niece of -thee groom. Best man-
was Dale McInnis. Glencoe. friend of the groom, and
ushers were Gary Montgomery, London. and John Staffen,
'Seaforth. The ringbearer, Robin Scarrow, nephew of the
bride. carried the rings on .a pillow of blue satin and white
knitted lace made by the bride's great-great grandmother.
The organist was Mrs. Rosemary Ferguson. Following a,
reception at Seaforth Legion Hall, the couple had a
wedding trip around Southwestern Ontario. They will
reside in Glencoe. Ont. Prior to the wedding, the bride was
honoured at two miscellaneoui showers held at the home
4bf Mrs. Georgina Reynolds and Bethel Bible Church.

The 40th wedding anniver-
sary of Mr. and Mrs. George
Kruse. which was June 18th
was celebrated at a family
gathering on Sunday. June

and daughter-in-law. Mr.
and Mrs. Paul. Kruse of
Isabelle St., Seaforth. Supp
er was served. topped by a
beautiful anniversary cake.
The couple received many
gifts. along with _cards and
best wishes from friends and
relatives who . remembered

lived all 'MI their lives in
Seaforth and Egmondville.
and have a family of eight
children - seven sons and one
daughter and five grand-
children.,They are Richard of
Stratford. George of Sea-
forth. Roy of Calgary, Alber-
ta, and Tim of Seaforth. The
bridesmaid at the wedding
was Mrs. Franklin Bradwin.

Frank Case of Seaforth.

now deceased. Soloist was
Mrs. Frank Kling. and or-
ganist. George Clarke. The
wedding took place at St.
Thomas Anglican Church in

success •
The Catholic Womehs lea-
gue held a successful tea and
bake sale at St. 'Josephs
convent. 44 Govenlock St.-
' Seaforth on Wednesday
afternoon.
The guests were welcomed
by the president. Mrs. H.
Hoste and Sister Mary Lou-
ise. Mrs. Ray Hutchinson
invited the ladies to the tea
room where lunch was sere -
ed. Mrs. Harry Hak, the
convener. and her able help-
ers served tea. Mrs. Ken
Wright. Mrs. Roger Hoorn-
aret. Mrs. J. Maloney. Mrs.
Hank Dorssers, Mrs. Hugo
Menheer. and Mrs. Reni Van
Loon, Mrs. Maurice Etue.
Mrs. Rose. Pringle and Mrs.
Dan O'Rourke poured tea.

in charge of the bake sale
