A lot of people have told me about the torture of passing another car. I dread the thought. One persofi told me that she was driving from Grand Bend on a busy Sun- day and was told to pasS by someone who has a licence and knew whether it was a good idea or not. I guess this is kind of a warning to the citizens- of Seaforth who value their lives while they're driving: Stay off the roads unless you definitely have to drive, that way it will be safer for me to drive! Waited for a long time to get into'the car and start to. drive, for at leait 16 years. I've heard a lot of stories about driving and the fun of it all. I have also heard many stories of the tragedies caused by careless drivers that leaVe a 16-year-old wondering what is going to happen when or if they get their licence. A couple of weeks ago I got the "Driver's Handbook,' prepared and issued without charge by the Ministry of Transportation and Com- munications. This was a great chance to learn more about driving. licences. be- fore going to get my begin- ner's licence. There are many %%uses of licences as you probably know. A class L licence allows you to drive any motor vehicle not exceeding 8200 kg. A Class "L" licence is a learner'i licence.
