noon of June 9 and 11.
The Huron County Dairy
Princess will visit the school
June 15.
On June 16 the choir will
sing for a retired teacher's
dinner at 12:30 noon.
Jane 8 was a professional
activity day. The staff was
engaged in activities design-
ed to determine sensible
'strategies for next year.

Dr. Foster' Cline, a psych-
iatrist from Evergreen, Col-
orado will be in Huron-Coun-
ty June 24 and 25. He will be
speaking to elementary
teachers, board members,
and interested parents. His
topic will be "Today's Trou-
blial Disruptive Student."
Any Vanastra parents inter-
ested in hearing Dr. Cline's

throughout the summer
months. Sunday School will
begin again in the fall.

on "The Holy Spirit and the
Church". Pentecost was

3:30 p.m. there will be a
service in Heather Gardens.
For the next two weeks.
starting Tuesday; the'synod
will meet in Grand Rapids.
Tomorrow Rev. Mantel is
applying to be certified as a
specialist in Marriage and
Family Counselling in Toron-
to. He has had three and a
half years of training and 'will
be looking for a more special-
ized ministry, but hopefully
be able to continue his
ministry as well in Vanastra.
The S.W.I.M. team still
needs some items of furni-
