I've begged off that one and have received a momentary stay of execution, Some day down the road, though. that sports column ball will land in my court again, served up as an ace, and I just won't be able to make a return. After all. the Dodgers have proven that they are consistently the • best team in baseball. so Los Angeles. truly. is the place real baseballs fans want to go. But Detroit is the best of the worst, and off we went a couple weekends ago to see the Bengals take on Earl's birds from Baltimore. Second to the Dodgers. the Orioles are the best ball club around.
