- Kitchener 'at the Valhalla
Inn.
The Lions 2nd Annual Ball
Tournament for Lions mem-
bers only; is June 26. 2' and
28. Ball uniforms are on
order. Come out and cheer
on their practicing.
This weekend at Klompen
Feest. the Vanastra and Dis-
trict Lions and Lioness float
was driven by Kim Hodgins,
Glen McLachlin. Tony Jea-
cock, Jim Ryan and Wayne,,.,„
Ferguson walked with it. The
two little Dutch girls on the
float were Andrea Postma.

Next meeting is June 3
with the Lioness Club. for
induction of new officers, at
the White Carnation in
Holmesville.
The Vanastra and District-
Lioness CLub had •a business
meeting May 21. Nextoeet-
ing will be a joint with the
Lions Club.
May 23 and 24, the Lioness
catered to about 15 people at
the Vanastra Recreation Cen-
tre who were taking the
Fitness .Ontario Leadership
Course (F.O.L.C.). They will
cater again June 13 and 14
when these people finish
their course.
ACTIVITY' NIGITT
Activity Night was May 22.
Unfortunately the children
were sent home early be-
cause of misbehaving. Activ-
ity night is an evening of fun
and ,entertainment for all
present and is to be enjoyed.
