In particular are our. three
parks, Optimists, -Victoria
and Lions, and each has
something unique and
special to offer.
The value of Victoria Park
just east of the centre of town 0

Farmers' Market in 1980. the
town's recreation committee .

for this year. They will be run
on Saturdays on successive
months beginning June 27.

markets rum from 9 a.m. to 2'
p.m. and feature food booths
and arts and crafts displays.
AFso it is hoped Victoria
Park. as in previous .sum-
mers, will host a weekly
program of band concerts.
Details are still being
'arranged. but the concerts
May run.on Sunday evenings
throughout July And August.
And at its last meeting.
Seaforth town council voted
to purchase and install anew
fountain for *drinking in the
park. The fountain is unique
in that it is accessible to
handicapped people.
The Optimist' Park. in the
south se"etiolf OfSetiforth. is a
bonus for ball players. and
already seasons are, well
underway, • for several,
leagues. It's an odd summer
evening when you'll
drive by the park and not Ste
action goitig on.

VICTORIA PARK — The park, located in the
centre of town, is used by people Who wish to
enjoy peace and quiet at dinnertime, or by
others who stroll dpwn to the park at dusk. The
cenotaph, seen here, is used in November for
the Remembrance Day ceremonies. The park
will be used this, summer to host four farmers'
