friend. pencil or hoek. Thee
things usually change as you
do. For example, after ,an
arguement with your best
friend, you could never con-
sider that person your favor-
ite person! Also, when
you're 15 you couldn't realty
think of Curious George as
your favorite novel, although
you find it amusing. This is
the way' that I found it
anyway.
Lots of kids, become at-
tached to a pet when they are
fairly small. Whether it he a
dog. the neighbour's cat, a

mouse, hamsters, a pet rock
and plaster pictures of them
all over their wills at home.
They are definitely not the all
time favorites of everyone
though.

only grandchild aware of her
liking owls.
A FAVOURITE COLOUR
When kids go to nursery
in the house when mother is
not looking 'and' begin to
colour the walls and furniture
purple.
What is your lasourite
food? Fur many kids, it is the
ever-popular Kraft dinner.
With the unusual taste buds
of some kids. they might
combine many of theie fav,-

and create a new sensation:
For example, one little child
might take a dish of Kraft
Dinner mixed with a secret
sauce of peanut butter and,
apple sauce, topped off with
orange jello and sliced ban-
anas. Yummy! Maybe it isn't
your most' favourite food.
Often a person's favourite
restaurant depends on their
favourite food. If a person's
favourite food is filet mignon
they aren't liable to go to a
McDonald's for dinner.
Favourites are often
thought of when planning a
night out in the city. For
example, what is your• fav-
ourite movie, restaurant.

• CHOOSING A GIFT -
When 'choosing a -Christ-
mas or birthday gift for our
parents. as a group of three..
we find 'it difficult to choose
one thing because of the
number . of favourites we
have. For instate:v. I may like
the blue vase for my mother
' because blue is my favourite-
oalour..
'My sister may like the
potted spider plant in the
hanging basket because
spider plants axe her favou-
rites. My brother on'..the
other hand May like the- idea
of keeping the money and
wishing-her a happy birthday
because being rich is his
favourite thing to be.
