Seaforth's nursery
school is continuing its cam-
paign to raise funds for its
move to a portable classroom
on Seaforth Public School
grounds, in time for the
pre-schools opening in
September. '
President Pal Rodney told
a parents' meeting Tuesday
night that -a 51000 &nation
had been pledged from The
House of Seagrams. and
$200 from Tiickerstnith
Township. As well. the
Shriners will supply access
equipment to allow handi-
capped children to attend.
Saturday the-parent co-op
is holding a rummage,
garage and sale in the
Rathwell building on Main
sr.-And this -Friday: and on
Friday May I' the proceeds
of all coffees sold at Hessen
Haus will be donated to the
nursery school's fund.
A 'new executive for -the
1981-82 year was acelaiMed
at the Meeting. Lorraine
Devereaux is the new presi-
dent; Rowena -Wallace the
vice-president; Grace Cole-
man.. treasurer. Bonnie Mc-
Millan, secretary and Maria
Vogels. registrar.
Special events 'planned for
nursery school children in-
clude a visit to Adams-Dale
farm to sec lambs; a parents
day on Sunday afternoon
-April- 20 for any interested
guests to tour the nursery
school and a school-picnic-on
May 28.
