April 22: 1888. she was the
former Mary Wurdell, a
daughter of the late August
Wurdell and former Sophia
Stamp.
On Oct. 16. 1915, she,
married Jonas Dittmer who
died July 9, 1967. The couple
had farmed at lot 21, con. 11
of Logan Township until
retiring to Brodhagen in
1949 I
She was a member of St.
Peter's Lutberan Church,
Brodhagen. and an honour-
ary member. of the Ladies
Aid.
Surviving are one daugh-
ter. Mrs. Martin (Vera)
Rock. of Mitchell: two grand-
daughte,,Mrs. Elaine Van-
hevel. of RRI. Bornholm-.
and Mrs. Diane !tines, of
Mitchell: and seven great
grandchildren. She was pre-
deceased by two .brothers,
,two sisters and one grand-
daughter.
Friends were received at
the Lockhart Funeral Home.
Mitchell until noon Thursday
when transfer will be made
to St. Peter's Lutheran
