Marc Was raised on a farm in Kent County
and received hiselementary and high school
education in Chatham. Marc's family were
in the elevator and farm supply business in
Kent County and Marc was associated with
this business until it was sold in 1976.

three or four flights of stairs

rest, Never the less, Mr.
Pelss was back to his Pyth-
agoras Theory, the next- day
after 4c returned. The chap-
crones were a lot, of fun 'and
when they're with us, pat-
ents have no need to worry.
The chaperone's were not
the only ..0IteS who were a lot
of help to the , band, Adults
who went on the trip for a
vacatidn spent a good deal of
time with the. girls. Other
times they. were handed
cameras to take pictures of
theparade and praCtices. It's
not easy trying to remember
whoserameta is whose when
10 cameras are handed to
you but they did it.
Actually most .of the :girls
were ready to come home.
After several phone calls to
Seaforth later in the week,
last week. and the Chisel-
hurst ladies treated the resi-
dents and entertained them
with bingo.
Ross Thomson was high
bowler for the men with a
score of 144 and Edna Youn
was high scorer for the ladies
with 105.

The bus ride home was

Myrtle Beach. We had just a

probably just as excited
but we were tired. I had
twice as much sleep as on the
way down to Myrtle Beach.
After a good rest, well

hourS from home. 'By .10:30.'
we were at the 'Filth station
just outside of Kitthener. At.
about 11:20; we pulled into
the east end. of Seaforth and
were greeted' by two, fire
trucks. At first someone
wondered if the hospital or
possibly the town was burn-
ing down but we found out
soon that we were going to
get a tour of town on the fire
trucks to welcome. us home...
