The annual Coonference of
the Lake Huron Zone of the
Ontario Municipal Recrea-
'tion Associa ton held March
in Walkerton, brought to-
gether 85, delegates from 26
communities to consider the
theme. "Building a Better
Base" as it relates to recrea-
tion within the local corn-
munity. Don Reid. District
Supervisor. Ministry of Cul-
ture and Recreation, de-
veloped this theme in the
keynOte ' address, stressing
looking back to planning for
both short lndJong term and
striving for people involve-
ment.
