One at 3:30 and one at 5:30 p.m. and will consist of one 6 end game and dinner.. There: are still spots available at the 3:30 draw. The season closes with the Spring Thaw a 2 clay mixed bonspiel. There will be 2 eight end games on Saturday. dinner and dance Sat. night, breakfast on Sunday and final, game following. The annual meeting will take place on Friday, April 10th at the Vanastia Recreation Centre. TENTS FOR SALE? • The Cubs and Scouts ,are looking for used canvas tents 3-4 man size to; buy or haw donated to them. They are in dire need for the upcoming camping season. They would kik to see how many tents they can get befor major fund raising event for new tents has to be launched. Thee Cubs- would like to thank John Bierg for helping out at the last meeting because Akela couldn't attend. After a crash course on .knots. John was able to teach some knob to the boys. Included in the 'meeting was learning how to sew a dart properly and how to go about gathering areas of your garment such as a yoke or waistband. How to sew a seem and how to finish it were also demonstrated, Group mem- bers tried their luck at a.sbort quiz on "Of pressing con- cern.'• Members were asked to have their garments cut out and to start sewing them.
