When it met last week. Hensall
council accepted 'the report of the Hay-
Henson-Tuckers:I:nth area fire committee.
The report included the proposed 1981
budget.
-NEW COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
Additional expenditures in the budget
included $9,000 for a communications
system, and new uniforms.
The communication system will link the
fire trucks by radio to the fire.station and to
-other fire companies in the ,region„
Councillor Richard Piekham said when
the ChiSelburst church burned recently.

The resolution was sent by the regional
government to all Ontario municipalities.
They requested that, if' endorsed, copies be
sent to the Ontario attorney general, and the
federal minister Of justice.
The Overly cotrittlittee reported they had
it-evaluated the necessity for an auction of
items presently in storage in the town hall.
