The McKinley Chicken
Spiel was held in Seaforth on,
Saturday. Bob Wilson. Rich-
ard Reeder, Bill Fleming and
Ian Fleming made up a team
and Ken Moore, Ray Hutch-
inson, Jim RoSe and Darwin
Bannerman were the second Dawson skip. made up the
Seaforth team. Neither won team which curled in the
prizes but had a good day Ladies Spiel at Exeter/Jost •
with lots of good food to eat. wednesday.• We are happy

novice hockey 'tournament
was a huge success for
everyone involved:
St. Mary s. won the Cham-
pionship trophy donated by,
Whitney-Ribey Funeral
Home by defeating Milver-
ton 8-6. Mitchell won "the
*Conseil-Mimi trophy by de-
' feating Hanover 4-2.
Other scores were:

won the M.V:P. in the final

the first game between thete
two teams, and turned out to
be exciting for Seaforth fans.
At the mid of the first period
it was scoreless. Seafortii'S
Scott Driscoll scored their
only goal on a pass 'from
Trevor, Price and Mike Bet-
ties in the -second period
giving Seaforth the lead' of

at the end of the first period.
With the Seaforth team put-
ting .on extra power, Scott
Driscoll scored die only, goal

Seaforth ,a 3-0 lead. ,

scored their only goal of the
game. With a minute left in
this period Seaforth scored

Scott Driscoll. The goal gave
Seaforth a 4-1 win.
