This film creat- ed much merriment among the residents. By, popular vote the Valen, tine ,King and Queen here Frank Case and Miss Mary Neville. Both received a cor- sage and boutonniere and, sing song was enjoyed with Lynda Jardine at the piano. Heart shaped -shortbread cookies were donated by Evelyn Querenguesser. At 4.30 p.m. the Sunday' School children of St. Thomas Anglican church accompanied by leaders Helen Southgate and Bar- bara PalM visited residents. The children sang three delightful songs and present. ed each resident with an attractive handmade valen- tine. Mary Finlayson thanked the children and leaders for their thoughtfulness and stated this was the first time a group had brought valen- tines for the residents. making this day very special to them. Rev. J. Van Slyke of Northside United Church visited last Wednesday- morning. Taking the "A.B.C.'s of religion" as his theme Rev. Van Slyke said' A-Acknowledge your need, "B" Believe in Clfrist- "C", Confess him daily. Edith Dunlop accompanied for the hymns and Mrs. Van Mike helped with the singing. Rev.
