POKER.RALLY RESULTS
Sunday there- were 150 snowmobiles •
entered in a poker rally with 209 drivers and
riders registered. This 30 mile route through
the fields north of Seaforth was won by Rick
Fell of Seaforth with a diamond flush. quen
high and in second place was Ran
T,hompson, Brucefield. with a ? flush, ten
high.
r, Thirty-three skiers registered for the
skiing poker rally over three miles of hilly
bush land.
"A terrible trail" declared three of the,
exhausted contestants. "too slippery, too
much bush and too many ups and downs 'in
the trail." .
The 'winning skiers were: Sean Lane of
4. SeafOrth, who held the best prilter'
hand a full house. three tens and two
sixes; while Paul Merihere of RR, 2. Dublin.
was second with two pairs-two threes and
two eights.
, The Atom Hockey. tournament ended
at six o'clock Sunday, afternoon with these
winners: ririsolation champion in A series.
Goderich 9 • over Erindale Charfwood
(Mississauga) 1; and in the B series the
consolation championship was won by
Strathroy 3 over Belmont 1. ,
The A series championship was won by
Liindon• Minor Hockey 6 over Kincardine 1.

Kenneth Coleinan said the carnival hard •
time dank. Saturday night was a full house.
He concluded. "Another Succesiful OptiMitt
club weekend-Which has godd for
people to get out'and. enoy winter sports."
