difficult than usual. The Entrance
.Physiology paper covered more ground
than the limit, but since the 136ards of
Examiners have full power to deal with

account of this paper. Cards containing
the marks obtained have bean mailed to
all the candidates writing. Certificates
for those who passed Public School
Leaving cannot be sent before Novem-
ber let. Schools claiming to have done

They plaintiff and the defendant
are two doetors at Brussels, 1'n
December, 1397. the defendant., Dr.
McKelvey, sold, out tits practice
{ in Brussels to Dr. Snider,
for $?,1O0, and agreed not to renew
bis vocation within a radius of five
miles. of Brussels for a period of five
teat's. The plaintiff .discovered
later that Dr. McKelvey bad in-
fringed upon this stipulation, and be
brought suit for an injunction and
$400 damages. Justice Robertson
granted the injunction, ordering the
defendant to discontinue practice,
and awarded Dr, Snider $100 dam-
ages.
Huron Medical Meeting.
The regular meeting of Duron
Medical Association was held in the
Connell Chamber, Clinton, on. Wed-
nesday, July 12th, when the follow-
ing members were present :---Dr.
McKenzie, Monkton, President Dr.
Hunter, Goderich, Sec. ; Drs. Beth-
une and McKay, Seatorth ; Woods,
Bayfield ; Hackett, Fullerton; Crave,
Blyth; McCallum, Lrndesboro; Gra-
ham, Thompson and Shaw. Clinton ;
Smith, Mitchell ; Hutchinson, Staf a ;
Armstrong, Mitchell and Stanbury,
Bayfield ; Dunsmore, Stratford ; Sny-
der, Brussels ; Paul, Sebring=ille.
Dr. Bryce, of Toronto, read a very
interesting paper .on Tuberculosis in
Ontario, its cense and protection.
The following discussed the several.
parts :—Dr. Smith, the diagnoses ;
Dr. McKay, the peritoneal tubercul-
osis ; Dr. Danemore, hygienic treat-
ment„; Dr. Graham, the legislation.
A resolution was passed unamimons-
ly by the meeting that county sani-
tariums should be erected as soon as
ppssible in order to stay the progress
of this dreadful disease.
