EDITORIAL NOTE'S.
THE North Hastings election trial
has been fixed for June 27th, before
.justices Rose and Osler.
THE man who accepts a bribe for
his vote, is, in our opinion, as bad as
the briber. A law should be passed
to punish both.
WHAT this country needs is fewer
cleetion protests and a considerable
increase of prosecution and pun
ishrnent of both bribers and bribed.

A couple of Walkerton ladies were
recently discussing the case ofa
mutual friend who, owing 'tc the
sudden development of a bad 'attack
of sciatica, had been compel[ed to
take to her bed, 'when a third lady
present, but who was a strangerto
the young woman in question, made
the remark, , "I would advise your
friend to take Dr. Williams' Pink.
Pills." Asked to give her reasons
fon making this recommendation she
proceeded to' give the details of a
most remarkable eure that had been.
effected, by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills
on the daughter of her nearest neigh.

the story as told by this lady, hav-

"Rebecca, is now seventeen years
of age. When she was eleven she
was attacked With tonsititis and.

of pains alt over her body but ehief-

and run down that she was unable
to walk, without the assistance of a
crutch. The doctor said she was

condition of the system. Be prescrib-

During thethird winter she became
so bad that she had to be assisted
into and out of bed, and could not
even raise from a chair without as,
sistance. We had given up all hope
of her recovery when a Mr. John
Allan, who had himself been similar-
ly afflicted, but who had been cured
by the .use of Dr. Williams' 'Piet;
PiIis, advised us to give thein a trial.
We h' d tried so many things with-
out success that we hesitated- to
accept bis advice, but he insisted so
strongly that we finally yielded.
The first five boxes seemed - to pro -
due; no change, but before she had
finished the sixth box we were sure
we could notice some improvement,
and we felt encouraged to continue
their use, From that on she con-
tinued to improve steadily. and by
the time she had taken eighteen
boxes''every trace of pain had left
her. She threw away her crutehes
and soon forgot that she had ever
needed thein. For months past she
has been filling a position in the
rattan factory and cart work as
well as anyone, Indeed I do not be--
lieve that there is to -clay 'a healthier.
'girl in Walkerton:"
Such is Mrs, Cxreenhow's .story of
the cure of . her daughter through
the use of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills
after years of great suffering. We
may add that a day or two later the
writer called once more at the Green-
how abode ip the hope .of seeing the
young lady 'herself. This time she
was at home and she came into the
room. She presented an appearance
of the most 'perfect health. She re-
peated the story of her sufferings in
substantially the same terms as her
mother had done, and, like her
mother, gives all the credit to Dr.
Williams' Pink Pills.
Rheumatism, sciatica;, neuralgia,
partial paralysis, loeomotor ataxia,
nervous headache, nervous prostra-
