Mr. Orr's report gives many in

showing entire effxeaey of the
system, recording in detail the .re'
sults of experimental spraying
conducted during the past season
at thirty different points through-
out the Province, whieh was
mapped out into three routes, so as
to test thesystem under every
variety of local conditions, and ex-
tend a knowledge of its operations
as widely as possible. The greatest
'interests was taken by the people of
the localities selected,. the attendance
at the spraying numbering 3,588
persons, in additten to many sub-
sequent visitors to the sprayed
orchards the number being 700 more
than that of the year previous, and
over double the attendance of 1896.
The plan adopters was to spray when
the buds were swelling, then just.
before the opening of the blossom,
and lastly when the blossom hats
fallen—at intervals of about twelve
days, until the danger of scab was
passed: The. result was a very
marked improvement in the quality
of the fruit, showing that the. tent
caterpillar acid other insect sesta had
been vanquished by the treatment...
A rigid examination of the yield was
Made, and - all •scabby,- wormy or.

many cases from 90 to 100.per cent
of clean, sound fruit was, obtained.

in the land. It is a sure cure for colds and coughs; a specific for Asthma,
Bronchitis, Croup, Whooping Cough; it prevents Pneumonia, cures La
Grippe; and it so strengthens the lungs and heals the torn tissues that
many cases of disease marked by all the signs of Incipient 'Consumption
have been absolutely cured by its use.
"We tried almost everything for asthma without success. At last we used your Cherry
Pectoral and the relief was immediate." S. A. ELLIS, Beene, N. II.
" When I had almost despaired of ever finding a cure foto chronic bronchitis, I derived
most excellent results from Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. I can testify as to its efficacy."
R. G. PROCTOR, M. D., Oakland City, Ind.
"There were sixteen ch lilren in• my father's family and there are seven in my own. We
have never, since I can remember, been withont Ayer's Cherry Pectoral, and have: never
had a case of cold or a cough that this remedy did not cure."
How. WM. E. MASON, Chicago, Ill.
'"My wife was sick in bed for ten months and was attended by six different doctols. All
of them said that she had consumption, and some of them; said she could not live a month.
I bought one bottle of Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. It seemed to help her, so I secured one
dozen bottles, Before these were all used, she was completely cured .and to -day is
strong and well." J. W. EWING, Camden Paint, Mo.
•
"For more than a year my wife suffered with lung trouble. She had a severe cough,
great soreness of the chest, and experienced difficulty in breathing. A three months' treat-
ment wi Ayer's Cherry Pectoral effected a complete cure. We regardedit as remarkable,
as the other remedies she had tried had failed to even give relief."
