Sharon Pine and her children spent last week with her mother Grace McBride. George Clifton visited on the weekend with Mr, and Mrs. Wayne Stirling and family. Violet Ross spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ross and girls at Whitechurch. Mr.'and Mrs. Don Moffat and family have left ,the manse to reside in Wallaceburg. Art Alexander has improved in health and is able to be. home from Clinton Public Hospital. Gerald Aldwinckle of Fredericton N.B. is spending his holidays with Mn and Mrs. Mac Wilson. Fever (Continued from page A9) Bev Rapien and Laurie Rowland each scored three; two for Tracey Sieman and ohe a piece for Marci Scherbarth, Debbie DeJong and Karen Kelly. In the second game, Brodhagen took a commanding 7-0 in the bottom of the second inning but Milverton rebounded in the third with six runs. In the bottom of the fourth inning, Brodhagen scored four additional .runs to take a 11-6 win. In the championship game, Brodhagen and Sebringville each had two wins and no losses. Brodhagen was winning 3-2 at the bottom of the fourth inning but lisa Schellenberger brought in three runs with a homer in the , sixth. • Brodhagen fought back with Laurie Row- land, Donna Van Bakel and Marci Scherbarth crossing the pia* in the bottom of the sixth. Kim Diets caught two fly balls in centre field but Sebringville still managed to bring in two runs in the seventh inning. Donna Van Bakel pitched a good game with 'Marci Scherbarth doing an excellent catching job. Each, and every girl on the team should be congratulated on an excellent game. Even. _though they lost 8-6 to Sebringville the Brodhagen girls weice still winners. On Tuesday evening the Bantam girls won 26-3 over Kirkton, with a 25-11 Victory over St. Marys on Thursday. Wednesday night the Pee Wee Girls had a double header with Sebringville to make up for a number of rained-out games. In the first game Brodhagen lost 8-1 with Julie W ietersen bringing in their only run. In the second game, the scoring went back and forth, but Sebringville came out ahead to win 14.11 lively flowers adorned the front of the church at Brodhagen on Sunday morning. Flowers on the altar were placed by Nita Leonhardt and family in memory of Ross Leonhardt who passed away one year ago. Potted plants in the chancel stands were placed by Albert and Edith Bauer and family in memory of John Bauer who passed away 10 years ago.
