Like "I meant to get some Change but ..." Or "Sure I care about kids but .. ." Those little spooks and goblins know that 300 collected in their orange and 'black boxes often means the difference between life and death.to a small, friendless human, somewhere in this world. So at Hallowe'en, when the young voices call "Trick or Treat for UNICEF", please don't give them .any "buts." Help them to show their concern for the world'S destitute children by putting a few coins in the UNICEF box. That kind of caring is desperately needed in our world today. • VANASTRA if HOME FURNISHINGS and appliances wo hove cr large seleelton of... *2, 3, 4 piece Chesterfields *Corner and Sidewall China Cabinets *3 pc. coffee table seta *Bunk Beds-Lamps *Appliances-Antiques *Bedroom & Kitchen Suites *LAWN, ORNAMENTS LOCATED 2 MILES SOUTH OF CLINTON IN VANASTRA-PHONE 482-7922 the store with your everyday bargains" ARNOLD J. One of the most 'unusual . situations develops when the birds encounter rain at near-freezing conditions. Under the right set of circumstances, ice will gradually build up on the birds wings, finally forcing them to the ground. Some of the documented accounts report, "ducks falling from the sky':, the birds apparently!flying— until they were incapable of staying airborne any longer and making "forced landings" on roads, fields, • and villages. 14 Wilma Oke Thirty-eight members. of the senior choir at Seaforth Public School. under the direction of music teacher Carolyn Griffin, entertained war veterans at West-. ninister campus of Victoria Hospital Thursday.
