Bill and eleanor McAsh moved into their completely renovated home on Saturday. With the lovely 'new sur- roundings, all that hard summer's -wOrk will seem worthwhile. Rob Witmer, a fornier resident of Goderich, and at present a theology student in .Toronto, was the guest speaker for Goshen Church anniversary. Rob graduated from Queen's University, Kingston in 1969 and went to Japan as a short-term missionary. He became involved' as an English teacher. at Hokusei Gakuin in Hokkaido, and with the help of his' wife Kaiko, did evangelical work in the coffee houses, particu- larly in the Ark, Before returning to Can- ada he- was filling in for a Canadian missionary couple wo were on furlough, which kept him very busy, as there are 60 offices and churches in Hokkaido., , Mr. Witmer compared the -influence-of the Christians in Japan, who number less than one tenth`of the population, costume, as well as prizes for the beit couple, a door prize and lucky draw prizes. sHoE Brodhagen FARM. France's 'Kinsman, Mary Broadfoot .and Sandra Turner plan to attend the Prebyterial meeting in Chiselhurst. Susan Faber read a Thanksgiving poem and con- ducted a contest. They took the boat cruise aroundthe Thousand Islands and also called on. Mr. andMrs. Kenneth Jones' at Hillur, Ontario. St. Andrews Church Kip- per celebrated its 111th Anniversary Oct. 15. Special music was provided by the Choir assisted by Rev. and Mrs. McMullen singing two duets. The Sermon "Ai Lasting Covenant" was preached by Rev.
