Since activities will take place at both the
Van ".Egmond house and the school. visitors
are provided with horse ,• drawn .
transportation between.the.sites on .Sunday.
Visitors interested in the flower exhibition'
and artworkd. can also visit th.e Van .Egmond
house front noon to 6' .p.m. on 'Saturday
afternoon.
Ponds front the Ciderfest Will be used to
continue refurbishing the Van Egmond
House. once the home of 'Constant Van
Egniond. son of one of the founders of the
Huron Tract.

Foundation's Ciderfest will offer .visitors
more than cider and a flea market.
The fourth annual Ciderfest, which is
being held eh, Sunday afternoon front noon to
5 p.m. at the, Van Esmond, House and the
Seaforth Public Schook.is -adding a flower
festival and art 'gallery to this year'S
attractions.
The Van Egmond Foundation has joined
forces with the Seaford) Horticultural
Society and local artists to transform .the
EgmondvIlie historic site into a combined
floral eaibition and gallerY.
The flower festival will take place op the
ground floor of the Van Egmond house. Each
lkoorn will be decorated with bouquets of
flowers 'appropriate to the season.
• A number of theme displays will be set up
to portray different aspects of pioneer life in
the 19theettt4!ry,, ...These displays will
combine flower arrangements with artifacts
and antiques which Wouid,,be found'in a 19th.
