General Rules.& Regulations •
1. No entry fee will be charged. . 5
2. All entries must be made to the Seaforth Junior Fair secretary, Len-
Macgregor, Clinton, by the Club Leader, riot later than Friday, September
8th, 1978.'
- 3. All money,wilf be paid to Clubieaders in the cage of 4-H Clubs (both
Homemaking -f Agricultural), who will be responsible for 'distribution of
same. Junior Farmer and Junior Institute money will be paid to the Club
Secretary.
4, Displays must be in place by 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Sdptember 21st, for
immediate judging. The Display Area will be open Wednesday, September,
• 20th, at 8:00 p.m.-and all day Thursday, September 21st, 1978 tp 6:00 p.m.,. •
5. Cost of material should not exceed $20.00 in value. Hydro will be
available If required.
6. Displays are to be designed and erected by club members. Club.
Leaders and Ethers" may be asked to assist in the planning.
7. Cluttepartldpating will receive Transeortation,Assistancepof 10 cents per v?,
ills one way from the central lecation,of the Club., maxiumum subsidy of
'$5.00 (Clubs within 10 miles excepted). This amount will be paiade the
Club Leader who •makes entry for the Club. . . . •
CLASS 1 - JUNIOR FARMER CLUB EXHIBITS
1. Junior Farmer club members may compete at only one Class "B" 'Fair ill
the same class.'in any one year.
2, At least three clubs must be represented' in' each Inter-Club Class in
'order for the Fair ;to qyalify for a Federal Grant.
3. Open to Junior Farmer Clubs in Huron and adjoining counties organized
In 1978.

CLASS 2 - 4-H AGRICULTURAL CLUB EXHIBITS
1. 4-H club members may compete at ()ply one Class "B" Fair in the same
class In any one year. • •
2, At least three clubs must' be represented in each Inter-Club Class in
order for the Fair to 'qualify for a Federal Frant.
3. Each 4-H dub Organized during•1978 in Huron and adjoining counties
may enter one display.
4: Displays will. be six feet long, 36 inches high, 36 inches deep. Tables will
be available to set displays on.
5. Exhibits shall be judged by score card as Class 1.
6. Prizes; ChamplonshiP Ribbon; A Exhibit $20.00; B Exhibit $15.00; C
• Exhibit $10.00; all other exhibits $10.00 each. •
CLASS 3 ,- 4-H HOMEMAKING CLUB EXHIBITS (Non-competitive)
1. Open to 1977- 1978 4-H Homemaking Clubs In Huron who have set up
exhibits at a 1978 Acheivemant bay.
2. Club§ should not set up an exhibit from a demonstration or skit. Exhibits
other than thoseOf topics stated below will not be recognized as creditable.
I. At least three clubs must be represented In each Inter-Club class in order
or the 'Fairl to qualify for a Federal Grant.
. Table space of 4-5 feet will be available fob each -exhibit Be sure to state
le exact space required when making entry.
5. Uniform recognition of $12.004111 be given to all creditable exhibits.
8. Clubs wilt be restricted to one entryin a'Class "A", or one entry in Class
"B", or one entry in a Class "C'l Fair in one year.

4-H BEEF CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
1-. All cattle must tie negative to a blood test for Brucellosis within 60 days,
and accompanied by a negative test exceptt'i

b) spayed heifers
c) Brucellosis vaccinated animals undbr 18 months otege (vacc. certificate
to accompany animals)
d) animals from Brucellosis Free Listed Herds (owners'to obtain form HA 4
from their Icoal Health of Animals Branch office)
e) caftres under 6 months of age (all 4-H calves to be blood tested)
Blood samples are to be taken bricoal practicing veterinarians or their
approved technicians.
CATTLE WILL BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE FAIR WHICH TO NOT
MEET THESE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS.

4. Prize money won by members of Calf Clubs, will be paid to Club Leaders,.

allocated by the Fair •Board and or Junior Fair Directors,.

five.classes of livesteck (ftairy, beef, sheep, swine and horse). Member will
provide.own animals. ,Mileage will be paid where applicable. Winner will
be declared on the bests of all-round shownianship with each of the above
classes of stock. • - •

RULES & 'REGULATIONS . . .,
1. Open to all 1978 members of organized 4-H and Junid Farmer Clubs in
TOTAL -100 , Huron and adjoining counties.
2. Entries must be in place in the'Fpir Building before 12 o'clock noon on
Thursday., September 21st, 1978. Judging will take place Thursday
afternoon. • .
3. Entries ,must be grown on exhibitor's farm in 1978.
47 All kinds. of 41-1 Clubs. (Beef, Grain, etC.) and Junior Farmer Clubs :are
encouraged to participate in-their respective sections.
• , 5. Any entry in Class 1A and B; 2A and B, 3A apd B, 4A and B will consist
of three ricernbers; exhibits Qe. 2A-3 members each 'to exhibit 14, bale of
first-cut hay) from 'a club. In 44-1 entries the club leaders name will appear •

6. Entries'will be 'judged on a group basis, Entries considered of top
