Huron County's first 'com-
mercially grown . crop of
I cauliflower is now being
harv.ested near Exeter.
Len Veri, who planted .175
acres of the crop this spring.
. said the crop is in excellent
condition.
The grower had hired 50
ivorkers to help harvest the-
-crop mid ' plickage it for
marketing.
Mr..Veri said the demand
for the crop is good.
The•grower will also start
harvesting his pepper crop
this week, but the recent cool
nights mean the crop hasn't
done as well as the
cauliflower crop.
Cauliflower is
now ,a
Huron crop
