attendance was present and

sermon: also his help with
Last Sunday night's concert in Victoria
Park was given by the Stratford Legion
Concert Banld.
The 45 piece band, under the dire6tion of
bandleader Pant , Cross, , opened their
program with a rousing march. The band
was officially welcomed to ' Seaforth by
Legionaire J. Ungarian.
The Stratford ba'nd presented an
enjoyable concert featuring numbers, from
musicals inchtding My Fair Lady and The
Music.Man, much to the appreciation of the
large audience attending the concert.
Due to holiday interruptions, the Ingersoll
Salvation Army Band and Choir have been
forced to cancel their August 20 engagement
in Vidioria Park. However, the concert will
go on, with Seaforth's own community band
stepping in to fill the engagement.
The final concert of the season will be a
variety night under 'the direction of Mrs.
Flynn.
The Chamber of Commerce executive,
hope local , residents will show their
appreciation of the committee's efforts in
bringing in talented' musicians for the
summer program by attending both the final
concerts of the season. Come and bring your
guests and friends!.

A dinner and'. reception was. held
Following a honeymoon trip to Banff. the couple will reside
at 12 Burbank Place, Barrie. Guest were present from
Sudbury, Barrie, Stayner, Milton, Toronto, Newmarket,
